Ths light guide has been designed for the use with 0805 CHIPLEDs or smaller and can be strip-mounted in a grid dimension of 5,08mm, whilst the light elements are in a 2.54mm grid. The system is provided with a diaphragm to prevent irradiation, thus allowing the use of adjacent different-coloured LEDS with no light bleed. This diaphragm also ensures the tight fit of the light guide and fixes the guide to the PCB via two press-in lugs. As well as the standard Length A dimensions as shown, infinite variations are available from 5mm to 45mm with little or no tooling costs. The four-element version can also be modified to just 1, 2 or 3 elements.
