The light guide is mounted on the PCB via two press-in lugs. An integrated diaphragm prevents light bleed, thus allowing the use of mixed colors with optimum optical quality. The light guide is used in conjunction with SMD LEDs. The distance from light guide to light guide is 3.8mm. Length A is 17.2mm as standard but infinite length variations can be supplied up to 27.2mm. A new planar head version has been introduced to complement the popuar original spherical head version.
