This light guide is held in place on the printed board via two press-in lugs. An integrated diaphragm prevents light bleed, thus allowing the use of mixed colors with optimum optical quality. The light guide is used in conjunction with SMD LEDs. The distance from light guide to light guide is 3.8mm. Length A is 17.2mm as standard but infinite length variations can be supplied up to 27.2mm, often with little or no tooling cost.
