MENTOR’s new LED modules feature a flat panel design, making them ideal for displaying logos, symbols and text. The LED backlighting benefits from MENTOR’s product lighting expertise, providing very even, truly homogeneous illumination.
The module features an ESD-protected PCB with a single Top-Emitting RGB LED, offering an infinite range of backlight colours.
There are two options for the logos and text – the customer can supply their own overlays, which are clipped into place, or MENTOR can print customer-supplied graphic/text information onto the diffuser surface (MOQ 1,000 pcs). A third-party solution for the supply of low MOQ customer-specific overlays will be available shortly.
The recommended lighting area is 50x17mm and the mounting options are very flexible, including screw-fit, glueing, push-fit and snap-fit. The design features a very compact panel depth of just 5.5mm. More…

Vertical Light Guides – Circular and Square
MENTOR offers a wide assortment of vertical light guides. Both single vertical light guides and multiple versions are available in several variations of one, two, three and four-rows high and up to 10 columns wide to provide up to 40-way displays. Classic round designs are offered with Ø3mm elements or rectangular bar graph indicators with surfaces of 2 x 5 mm. Miniaturised designs are also available and all designs are offered with a choice of several standard lengths. More…
Horizontal Light Guides – Circular and Square
As well as single versions, multiple horizontal light guides are available in variations of one, two, three and four-rows high and up to 10 columns wide to provide up to 40-way displays. In addition to classic round designs with Ø3mm elements or rectangular bar graph indicators with 2mm x 5 mm elements, various miniaturised designs are also available.
